5 Favorite's For Feline Fun

Updated: Nov 16, 2019

Providing exercise and enrichment for your cat is essential for your fuzzy friend's health and happiness, and is key to strengthening your bond. Here are my top five favorite toys for cats, more importantly, my cats love them too!

This isn't just your average string/pole toy, flexibility of the pole and aerodynamic features of the feathers/attachments provide for a more realistic replication of live prey. I've played with numerous cats with this toy and they all get so excited they start panting. I have to limit my cats' playtime to 5-10 minute intervals so they don't get overworked. Keep it out of reach when not in use, or the kitties will find and destroy it.

2. Laser

Classic and beloved by cats and humans alike, this laser or any laser will provide endless entertainment for everyone. This is possibly the laziest way to play with your cat, which I can appreciate since I am often too exhausted to spend as much time playing with my cat as I should. I keep lasers near my bed and couch, which are also useful for redirecting them from the water glass on my nightstand or from in front of the TV.

Even my dog loves this toy, because ball=life. The only thing I don't like about it is how much my pets love it, so I'm constantly hearing spinning balls in the background.

Well reviewed on Amazon, this cat toy allows you to get creative with your pet by creating tracks for their ball chase. Also loved by the cats and dog alike.

This toy is so simple, and inexpensive, it's simultaneously surprising and unsurprising how much cats love it. My cat runs around the house with these in her mouth and its totally adorable.
